This material is a blend of high-count cotton and bamboo, woven using a special technique. The bamboo fibers provide excellent breathability and a moderate crispness. Digital printing was applied at a long-established dye factory in Kyoto using state-of-the-art inkjet printers.
・About the print First, Stovaigh modified their own lenses and used old photographic techniques to express the texture of the subject in a way that differs from conventional cameras. Next, after creating the digital image, they additionally used a technique called "salted paper printing" to create unique tones and textures. Finally, the resulting image was scanned again to convert it into digital data, and then a digital print was produced.
