・About the fabric
Conceived with "terraced rice paddies" as a motif, this unique woven pattern, which evokes the rhythm of nature, is a wool-linen blend fabric produced in a long-established jacquard factory in Aichi Prefecture. It combines the softness of wool with the crispness of linen, exquisitely blending the breathability of linen with the warmth of wool. The combination of different natural materials creates a deep, three-dimensional texture.
・About the lining (nouchi exclusive)
For this exclusive nouchi collaboration, the lining features silk dyed using the "Mountain dye" technique. Mountain dye is an ancient dyeing technique passed down by the Dong ethnic minority in Guizhou Province, China. They collect plants from the mountains and fields and use them to dye their clothing. Stovaigh visited them and entrusted them with silk from the designer's hometown of Sichuan, requesting this ancient dyeing method solely for the lining of the product.

Ceramic buttons created in collaboration with ceramic artist Jingwen Wu. Shaped and fired using the same process as pottery, these buttons achieve a unique, metallic-like vintage texture through the effect of a special metallic element, "uranium." To maintain uniformity in shape and size, only two of these precious buttons can be produced per day.
